IAHR to Lower 2013 Annual Membership Fees in Many Latin American and other Countries

2012年IAHR理事会于9月9日-10日在哥斯达黎加圣何塞召开，根据理事会会议决议，IAHR下调了墨西哥、土耳其、泰国及巴西四国的2013年IAHR会费标准。下调的依据是根据世界银行（World Bank）最新发布的各国经济及人均GDP水平，在最新的经济实力分组中，上述四国被下调为“中等偏上收入国家（upper middle income）”。

IAHR的会费标准分为高会费（High fee member）和低会费（lower fee member）两档，低会费缴费额度约为高会费的一半。中国在世界银行的分类为“中等偏上收入国家（upper middle income），在IAHR中按照低会费标准缴费，2013年缴费标准不变。
